Where the heck have I been?? In a time warp, apparently...seems like just an hour ago that I was hugely pregnant and complaining. Wow. I should have complained less and slept more. :D
Doing well. Escher is a good baby, sleeps well, eats heartily. And Rylan is an awesome big sister. Steve is busy with work and school. I am busy with...well, you know, the kids, cooking, cleaning, the usual. Thankfully, my parents are here and help out tremendously. We go to their house for dinner at least 1-2 times a week.

I'm mostly on Facebook nowadays...it's all I have time for. So if you're on Facebook, add me! Posts may be few and far between on here...
In other news, yes, Escher made his appearance via scheduled c-section on January 24th at 1135am weighing in at 9 lbs, 7 oz and 21 inches long! He's a big baby so it's a good thing I had a c/s! We're doing well, I'm recuperating from the surgery. Still a little bit sore (and can you imagine I actually miss being pregnant??) and we're staying at my parents house for the rest of this week. They've helped out tremendously in taking care of Rylan.
Steve is working from home this week and next, so that's also a great help.

Getting close

January 24th at 11am is my scheduled c-section! (Barring any emergency that my doc may have to attend to.) Have been really tired and it hurts to walk, so I probably won't be posting here again until after Escher is born. Of course, you can expect lots of pictures to be taken!
We'll probably bring the laptop to the hospital. We'll send out pictures from there. Most likely I'll be out by Monday and then Steve, Rylan, Escher and I are going to spend a week at my parents' house -- so that we can have their help while I recover.

Past due, but oh well.

We've all been sick -- Steve with a cold, Rylan and I with some sort of stomach bug. Ry's fine now...but I'm still very tired and unable to eat much else than toast and soup. My 36 week appointment was yesterday -- and my CBC results came back saying that I'm anemic. So that's also contributing to my extreme fatigue.

Not much else to say, really.

Have I mentioned how proud I am of my 23 month old?? :)
She knows the whole alphabet, can count to 10, knows most colors, and says please and thank you without prompting! Such a smart girl. Hehe.
